Q & A with Sarah

I have been refinishing furniture for 3 years.
I’ve always been creative and loved to decorate - I discovered I could create the looks I wanted by taking old discarded quality pieces and giving them a whole new life.
I do both! I sell my pieces on social media but occasionally I keep one for myself ️
No I really don’t! I truly find beauty in all of the different styles and love to refinish them all equally - you can see that in my work! That being said anything that’s been around for 100+ years really gets me excited!
I love so many - each piece lends itself to a different medium for me. I would say the paint that gives me the most therapy and creative outlet is milk paint.
Yes! This antique dresser had SO much charm and character  - hand cut dovetails and nails, porcelain casters and a hidden drawer. I felt like I was painting a long lost treasure.
Minty-Robins egg blues.
Refinishing furniture. Haha! I absolutely love to decorate.
Go outside your comfort zone! Even when it’s easier to throw in the towel and go with the easier route or the safer option, persevere! Trust your instincts and push your creativity.
Oh that’s hard! The chiseled wedge is my favorite for flat surfaces - it’s smooth, holds lots of paint and gets the job done! I also love the palm pro - it’s the ultimate therapy brush for any piece.
