How It Works:

1. Enter Your Project

January 12 – January 30

Choose the category that best fits your work and submit your entry. Upload your photos and share the story behind your project.
One entry per person.

2. Judging Round

February 1 – February 13

Our panel of 5 judges will review all submissions and select the Top 5 finalists in each category. If you’re chosen as a finalist, you’ll be notified by email and featured on our website.

3. Public Voting

February 13 – February 20

The Top 5 finalists in each category will be open for public voting. Spread the word and rally your community to support your work!

4. Winners Announced

February 24

The Top 3 winners in each category—determined by combined judges scores and public votes—will be officially announced on our website and social channels.

2025 Golden Brush Awards

Timeline

• Entry Period: January 12 – January 30

• Judging Round: February 1 – February 13

• Public Voting: February 13 – February 20

• Winners Announced: February 24

Eligibility

• Open to residents of the United States and Canada, age 18+.

• Open to muralists, DIYers, furniture refinishers, and paint-focused creators.

• Employees of Zibra or members of the judging panel are not eligible.

How to Enter

1. Complete the official entry form.

2. Upload one image per category (Transformation of the Year requires one Before and one After image).

3. One entry per category per person.

4. Submit all entries by January 30 at 11:59 PM EST.

Categories

• Stroke of Genius – Celebrates exceptional brushwork or technique.

• Color Crush – Highlights outstanding use of color.

• Detail Devotion – Recognizes extraordinary detail and precision.

• Transformation of the Year – Rewards dramatic before-and-after makeovers.

• Crowd Favorite – Determined by public voting.

Entry Requirements

• Images must be original and created solely by the entrant.

• No watermarks, logos, explicit content, or AI-generated artwork.

• Entrant affirms that submitted content does not infringe on any copyright or intellectual property rights.

Judging

• Judges evaluate creativity, execution, and overall impact.

• Top 5 finalists in each category are selected by the judging panel.

• Crowd Favorite is determined through public voting.

• Judges’ decisions are final.

Prizes

• Prizes vary by category and may include Zibra product bundles, promotion opportunities, and features.

Rights & Usage (Copyright and Permissions)

By submitting an entry, you grant Zibra a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to:

• Use, reproduce, publish, display, and distribute your submitted images, your name, and your social media handle(s)

• Post your work on Zibra-owned platforms, including but not limited to social media channels, enjoyzibra.com, promotional emails, advertising materials, and Golden Brush Awards content

• Edit, crop, or adapt images solely for formatting or promotional layout purposes You retain full ownership of your work. This license allows Zibra to promote the Awards and showcase entries but does not transfer copyright.

Notifications

• Finalists will be notified by email during the judging timeline.

• Failure to respond within 72 hours may result in the selection of an alternate finalist.

• Winners will be announced publicly on February 24.

Additional Terms

• Zibra reserves the right to disqualify entries that do not meet the guidelines.

• No purchase necessary. Void where prohibited.
