Brush Care

Your Zibra brushes are built to create, so it’s only natural they’ll need a good clean from project to project. The good news? They’re designed to withstand regular washing—without losing their shape or performance. Just follow the steps below to keep your brushes feeling like new.

Fresh Paint? You Fancy.

If you’re one of those rockstars who actually rinses their brush right after painting—we see you.

Dried Paint? Welcome to the Club.

If your brush sat too long (hey, life happens), here’s how to revive it like a pro:

  • paint brush cleaning with soap

    Step 1

Fill a cup or paint pail with warm water and add a generous amount of soap. Massage some soap directly into the dried paint on the filaments.

  • paint brushes soaking in bucket

    Step 2

Let soak for at least 8 hours.

Important: Only submerge the filaments into the water to soak- keep the ferrule above the water.

  • cleaning a paint brush with water and cleaning comb

    Step 3

After soaking, grab your brush comb and work that soap through the filaments. It might take a little elbow grease, but don’t give up—repeat the soak-and-scrub as needed.

  • paint brushes in a pile

    Step 4

When you're done, lay the brush flat or hang it to dry. Once it’s fully dry, pop it back into its original packaging to help it keep its shape.
